Pictures Sounds Numbers Words… Teaching and Learning with Technology was an online conference that took place from May 4-7, 2009. It was an invitation to participate in an innovative and exciting opportunity to connect with other educators interested in teaching and learning with technology.
Completely online, this conference featured former Governor of Maine Angus King as the keynote speaker, and highlighted 27 engaging and inspiring workshop sessions conducted by, and for, educational professionals interested in teaching and learning with technology. During his Keynote presentation, Governor King shared his thoughts on teaching and learning and how they can both be positively impacted by the infusion of technology into the classroom.
Using web-based technologies to communicate and collaborate, this event was for educators interested in engaging in conversation around teaching and learning with technology, and offered an opportunity for sharing and discussing examples of best practice using technology to creatively teach and inspire.
The event provided an opportunity to participate interactively in a live virtual environment… all right from the comfort of your own computer desktop. All conference workshops were held online using Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro, and featured sessions during which participants interacted and shared ideas with both presenters and peers. Every workshop was recorded and has been made available for viewing - to view recordings of all of the workshop sessions, go to: MLTIOLC Website – so that you won’t miss any of the sessions. You can still join in on the conversations on the MLTIOLC Blog, and workshop presenter resources have been made available for download.
