Summer Technology Institute 2010 June 21 – 25, 2010 Hutchinson Center, Belfast, Maine

"The Summer Tech Institute was the paradigm of how professional development should be!" Bridget R. This Institute gives participants the opportunity, knowledge and skills to immerse themselves in technology that extends and enhances learning and teaching. It's a wonderful opportunity for High School teachers learning to use 1-to-1 computing.

• Participants attend the same topic strand every morning. • Afternoon workshops present a variety of ways to integrate into the curriculum • May be taken for 3 graduate credits or 4.5 CEUs. • Light breakfast and lunch are included.

MORNING STRANDS • Podcasting for a Purpose (Jay Baack) • Novice Strand: Catering to Beginners' Needs and Interests (Scott Bosworth) • Moodle / Mahara Mania (Tim Hart) • Google Apps for Education (Sarah Sutter) • Motivate, and Empower Your Students Through Digital Media (Laura Richter)
