Description

From the MaineLearns Archives

In 2005 the Maine Learning Technology Initiative began a collaboration with eMINTS, the nationally recognized professional development program to realize the goal of transforming teaching using inquiry-based methods and strategies powered by technology. The MLTI/eMINTS effort seeks to help teachers at all levels to use technology in ways that change student engagement and student products through high-quality professional development and in-classroom support. The MLTI/eMINTS partnership brings professional development services to teachers across the state. Technology-rich-MLTI/eMINTS classrooms have been established in 60 classrooms located in 50 school districts and distributed across eight regions in the state. Trainer/mentors with extensive support from Missouri eMINTS program and MLTI integrators are providing professional development and support to the Maine teachers.

Below you will find press release from June, 2005, job description for Regional Teacher/ Mentor, and link to MLTI/eMINTS home page.
