Getting Started in a 1-to-1 School Video Series

Contributed by

Description

We have created a pair of videos on "Getting Started in a 1-to-1 School" that are designed for principals and other school leaders. The videos are each about 13 minutes long and feature former Governor Angus King and two Maine high school principals, Ted Hall of Yarmouth High School, Yarmouth, Maine, and Derek Pierce of Casco Bay High School, Portland, Maine. The videos were created specifically for high school leaders who don’t have much experience with 1-to-1, but others may find them very useful as well. They were created with support from the MLTI program at the Maine Department of Education. Captioned versions and transcripts will soon be available in the MLTI area on the iTunes U website.

Please take a look at the videos and engage with us in a conversation about teaching in a digital school. Please also see the companion video series elsewhere in this section of the MICDL website, "Getting Started in a 1-to-1 Classroom."
