2000 Effects of computer-based cooperative learning on the problem solving skills of grade six students. Steven Poris.

Description:

This study used baseline and post experimental data to determine if a computer based program increased reasoning skills in sixth grade students. Two groups of students were compared on two different programs. The groups were cooperative versus individual learning and the programs were a puzzle game or a social studies simulation. Results vary but show that the combination of cooperative learning and use of the computer based puzzle solving game increased problem solving ability. Dissertation.com USA
