Description:

This study examined the differences in composing essays in six graduate and undergraduate English as a Second Language Learners. Qualitative data was gathered on the processes of composing and on the written products using paper-and-pencil and computer modalities by individuals. Results show varying levels of engagement to both modalities and overall positive effects of using the computer over paper-and-pencil methods. Assessing Writing 8 (2002) 135-157
