2005 Learning with technology: The impact of laptop use on student achievement. James Cengiz Gulek & Hakan Demirtas

 

 

Description:

The study examined the impact of 1-1 laptops on 6th – 8th grade students in one large California school district. Student achievement was examined for laptop and non-laptop cohorts using a variety of achievement indices: GPA, end-of-course grades, writing test scores, and state mandated achievement tests.
