This study examined the use of a 1 to 1 laptop initiative in four schools on students and teachers in grades 6 to 12 at Henrico County Public Schools in Virginia. The primary purpose of the evaluation was to collect data about the use of the wireless laptops in science and mathematics. Results discuss specific uses of the laptop in class context, provide examples of use, and discuss impacts on students, teachers, and families. SRI International February 2005
