This qualitative case study sought to answer the question: Given ubiquitous computing, now do teachers use computers in constructing curriculum and delivering instruction? In two middle school one to one science- math classrooms, the researcher examined what facilitates or acts as a barrier for teachers in using laptops in classroom. The research revealed that differential effects consisted along two dimensions, the effect of technical technology issues and the educational effect of technology policies.
