This paper presented the findings from a two year literacy and laptop study that examined the laptop program in Maine and Ten California Schools from kindergarten to high school. The paper summarized the findings of one to one laptop programs to literacy practices, student achievement in literacy, and differing literacy practices. Results reported positive impact in literacy practices, but no evidence of laptops impacting student achievement in literacy.
