Educational leaders from throughout the world met in Northport, Maine on June 13 - 15, 2010 to share their knowledge and experience toward the end of developing a road map for 21st century educational policy. The meeting was sponsored by the Maine International Center on Digital Learning (MICDL) and the Anywhere, Anytime Learning Foundation (AALF), which is based in Montreal and Melbourne, Australia. Educators and policy leaders from Australia, Canada, Israel, India, Chile, Ireland, Uruguay, Brazil, as well as throughout the US were in attendance and others joined the conference electronically during the three-day event.
